What does "the public" mean to researchers?

Participants must be: People who regularly conduct academic research (e.g. graduate students, academic faculty, research scientists, etc.)

You will: Answer a few questions about why the public might want to learn about your work, and how your work might benefit (if at all) by learning more about the public's perspective.
